Marvel Snap introduces exciting Sanctum Showdown mode
Are you ready to ascend to the rank of Sorcerer Supreme? Marvel Snap has just launched a thrilling limited-time mode called Sanctum Showdown, which will be available until March 11th. This new event introduces an exciting way to compete, featuring a unique win condition, a special Sanctum location, and innovative snapping mechanics.
In Marvel Snap's Sanctum Showdown mode, the traditional gameplay of playing until turn six is replaced with a race to reach 16 points first. The Sanctum location is pivotal, awarding the highest points each turn. Moreover, snapping mechanics have been revamped for this mode. Starting from turn three, players can snap once per turn to boost the Sanctum's value by one point, adding a dynamic element to the game's momentum.
Participating in a match requires one Scroll, but a victory rewards you with another, keeping the excitement going. You begin with 12 Scrolls and receive an additional two every eight hours. If you run out, you can purchase more for 40 Gold. Regardless of the match's outcome, every game contributes to your Sorcerer Rank and earns you Charms, which can be redeemed in the Sanctum Shop for cosmetics or new cards.
Strategizing with cards like Captain Marvel or Dracula won't work here, as some cards and locations are banned to ensure fair play. Abilities that affect final outcomes are disabled, and cards such as Debrii have been removed to prevent dominant strategies. To build the ideal deck for this challenge, check out our Marvel Snap tier list!
If you're eyeing cards like Laufey, Gorgon, and Uncle Ben, Sanctum Showdown is your exclusive opportunity to obtain them before they become available in the Token Shop on March 13th. Through Portal Pulls, you have a chance to unlock these cards for free, along with up to four Series 4 or 5 cards.
Don't miss out on the Sanctum Showdown in Marvel Snap, available until March 11th. For more details, be sure to visit the official website.
