Marvel's Thunderbolts Super Bowl Trailer Unveils Sentry as Potential Villain

As the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) prepares for the release of Captain America: Brave New World and the introduction of Red Hulk, a new Super Bowl trailer for Thunderbolts offers a closer look at the team's diverse skillset and a potential first glimpse of its primary antagonist, Sentry.

The commercial, shown during the Super Bowl, showcased key characters including Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova, David Harbour's Red Guardian, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. The action-packed teaser provided a brief preview of the film, with a longer, two-and-a-half-minute trailer subsequently released online, revealing additional details. A fleeting but noticeable sequence suggests Lewis Pullman's Sentry causing significant destruction within the MCU.

The Thunderbolts team's formation and their confrontation with Sentry will be fully explored upon the film's premiere on May 2, 2025. For a compilation of all major Super Bowl commercials, visit here.
