How to Get & Use Master Strike in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Master the Master Strike in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for Brutal Efficiency
Early melee combat in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 can be challenging. However, mastering the Master Strike significantly simplifies things. This guide details how to learn and utilize this powerful technique.
Unlocking the Master Strike
Before you can use the Master Strike, Henry must learn it. After completing the tutorial and gaining open-world access, locate Bara the beggar in Troskowitz. She'll direct you to Tomcat, initiating the "Combat Training" side quest.
Tomcat resides in the Nomads' Camp, near the Cumans' Camp and Bozhena's Hut. Complete "Combat Training I," a relatively straightforward task. Then, save your game before engaging Tomcat for "Combat Training II," a considerably harder challenge.
Victory over Tomcat in "Combat Training II" unlocks the Master Strike. While attempting this early is possible, boosting your Strength stat beforehand is highly recommended. Saving before each attempt is crucial, as failure leaves Henry significantly weakened.
Master Strike Execution
The Master Strike is exclusive to sword combat. Observe your opponent's weapon position; hold your sword in the opposite direction. For example, if they attack from the left, hold your sword to the right.
As your opponent strikes, a green shield icon appears centrally on the screen. Immediately press the attack button to execute the Master Strike, parrying the attack and countering with an unblockable move. Precise timing and correct weapon positioning are essential.
Strategic Advantage
The Master Strike is incredibly powerful, significantly simplifying most combat encounters in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Master this technique to dominate your foes.
