"Mastering Godzilla: Become and Defeat in Fortnite Chapter 6"
Get ready, *Fortnite* fans, because the legendary King of the Monsters, Godzilla, is stomping his way into *Fortnite* Chapter 6. Not only will he be available in the Item Shop, but he'll also be roaming the Battle Royale Island. Here’s your guide on how to become and defeat Godzilla in *Fortnite*.
How To Become Godzilla in Fortnite
Starting January 17, 2025, you have the chance to embody the world’s most iconic kaiju in *Fortnite*. To transform into Godzilla, you'll need a dash of luck. Every match, a rift will appear at a random spot on the Battle Royale Island. Your mission? Be the first to find and jump into this rift.
If fortune favors you and you reach the rift first, you'll emerge as Godzilla, ready to unleash chaos across the lobby. As Godzilla, you'll have three powerful moves at your disposal: the Roar to pinpoint nearby players, the Mighty Stomp Attack to send foes flying, and the devastating Heat Ray to deal massive damage. However, be prepared, as the entire lobby will band together to take you down.

How To Defeat Godzilla in Fortnite
If you miss the chance to become Godzilla, you're in for an epic battle. Thankfully, Epic Games has provided Godzilla with specific weak spots. Targeting these weak spots will cause Godzilla’s Fragments to drop, which are crucial as they restore 40 health and grant three dash charges. Mobility is key in this fight, and the dashes will help you evade Godzilla's attacks effectively.
For this event, *Fortnite* has reintroduced the Rail Gun, a weapon that can deal significant damage quickly. If you find one, use it to your advantage. Additionally, higher-rarity weapons will also prove effective, so make sure to loot thoroughly. Dealing damage to Godzilla is vital, as the player who inflicts the most damage will be awarded the Godzilla Medallion, which includes a dash ability, and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.
Although missing out on becoming Godzilla might be a letdown, the rewards for defeating him are substantial. Plus, you'll have the bragging rights of defeating the King of the Monsters, which is a feat in itself.
And that's how you become and defeat Godzilla in *Fortnite* Chapter 6. For more *Fortnite* content, check out how to solve all the riddles in the Nightshift Forest.
