"Mastering the Human Grenade in R.E.P.O.: Acquisition and Usage Guide"
In the thrilling world of *R.E.P.O.*, battling monsters becomes a bit easier with the right arsenal. Among the various items you can purchase, the Human Grenade stands out as a unique tool. Here's your guide on how to find and effectively use this explosive in *R.E.P.O.*.
Where To Find the Human Grenade in R.E.P.O.
Unlike other items in *R.E.P.O.*, the Human Grenade is tucked away in the Secret Shop, a location you'll need to work to access. Fortunately, you can reach it between rounds, sparing you from battling Clowns or other creatures.
To get to the Secret Shop, complete the first round and return to the Service Station. While restocking on supplies, look for the ceiling tile opposite the Health Packs. This is your entry point to the Secret Shop, but accessing it in solo mode isn't as straightforward as climbing a few shelves. Here are the items you can use to reach the Secret Shop after removing the tile:
- Feather Drone
- Zero Gravity Drone
- Shockwave Mine
Some players have tried stacking objects in the Service Station, but this method can be more hassle than it's worth. The best approach is to save up enough funds to purchase one of the items listed above.
If you're playing with friends, accessing the Secret Shop becomes much easier. One player can minimize themselves and be guided into the shop by another standing on a cart or similar item.
Once inside the Secret Shop, you can purchase the Human Grenade for $2,000. While there, consider picking up the Duct Tape Grenade, which is essentially a bundle of Human Grenades, to enhance your inventory.

How To Use the Human Grenade in R.E.P.O.
The Human Grenade is a throwable item in *R.E.P.O.* with a range of about 10 meters, shorter than the Stun and Shock Grenades. A key distinction is that it can harm both players and monsters, so be sure to move out of the blast radius after throwing it.
While the Human Grenade might seem like an upgrade over the regular Grenade, its benefits are not immediately clear. In contrast, the Duct Tape Grenade, also available in the Secret Shop, offers significantly more destructive power. Keep this in mind when deciding what to add to your inventory, as the monsters won't go easy on you if you come equipped with less effective explosives.
That's everything you need to know about finding and using the Human Grenade in *R.E.P.O.*. For more tips, check out our guide on all the monsters in the game and how to escape them.
