"Mastering Rock Throwing in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2"
While engaging in open combat can be thrilling, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* offers players a robust stealth system that allows you to sneak past enemies. One of the key elements of this system is the ability to throw rocks, and here’s how you can master this technique.
How to Throw Rocks in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
It’s crucial to remember that rock throwing is only available in stealth mode. To enter stealth mode, click the right stick on your controller or press C on your PC. Once in stealth, depending on your platform, press and hold the following button to prepare to throw a rock:
- PlayStation: R1
- Xbox: RB
- PC: G
As you hold the button, Henry’s right hand will appear on the screen, ready with a pebble. A small crosshair will guide you to where the rock will land. When you've chosen your target, release the button to throw the rock.

Tips and Tricks for Throwing Rocks in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
One of the greatest advantages of rock throwing is that rocks are unlimited, so you don't need to worry about retrieving missed throws. However, keep in mind that the noise from a thrown pebble has a limited radius, so aim close to your target. If you hit objects like cups or plates, the noise will be sharper and more likely to attract attention.

Successfully throwing a rock can cause enemies to investigate the noise, giving you the opportunity to take them down stealthily or continue on your way. Be cautious though; directly hitting an enemy with a rock will immediately alert them and cause a commotion.
Rocks can also be used to knock down bird nests, which are scattered throughout the game world. These nests often contain valuable items like eggs, which offer a small amount of nourishment, or even dice badges if luck is on your side.
And that’s everything you need to know about throwing rocks in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and tricks, The Escapist has a wealth of guides, including how to get the best horse or how to sell stolen items, to help you navigate your journey through the game.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
