Mobile Legends: Bang Bang's Women's Invitational is on the horizon, and CBZN Esports is fueling the excitement with its newly launched Athena League. This female-focused league in the Philippines serves as the official qualifier for the Invitational, held at this year's Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia.

The Athena League strengthens the already impressive female presence in MLBB's esports scene. The Philippines has a strong track record, with team Omega Empress winning the 2024 Women's Invitational. This new league aims not only to support aspiring qualifiers but also to foster broader participation of women in esports.

Legendary

The underrepresentation of women in esports is often attributed to a lack of official support. Historically, esports has been perceived as a male-dominated field, despite a significant female fanbase and grassroots participation.

The Athena League and similar initiatives provide crucial support, offering open qualifiers that allow aspiring female players to hone their skills and compete on a global stage—an opportunity often unavailable otherwise.

This also highlights Mobile Legends: Bang Bang's commitment to the Esports World Cup, returning for the Women's Invitational after its successful debut. The game continues to be a major player in the global esports landscape.
