Monopoly GO & Star Wars Collab Launches Podracing Event
Monopoly GO! is blasting into galactic territory with its newest collab event. Fresh off its Marvel partnership last year, Monopoly GO teams up with Star Wars for its most ambitious crossover yet – arguably Scopely's biggest collaboration to date.
When Does the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Event Begin?
The interstellar festivities kick off on May 1st and continue through July 2nd. The storyline starts charmingly – PEG-E, Monopoly GO's robotic mascot, binge-watches Star Wars films in Mr. M's private theater.
The viewing session sparks PEG-E's cosmic imagination, transporting herself and friends into the Star Wars universe. Suddenly, property deeds transform into lightsabers as players find themselves choosing between the Jedi Order and Sith Lords.
What's Included in the Star Wars Collab?
The event introduces a special Star Wars GO! sticker album that unfolds like an alternate-reality comic book through PEG-E's vision. Collectible stickers feature iconic characters including:
- R2-D2 and C-3PO
- BB-8 and Grogu
- Yoda and Mace Windu
- Luke Skywalker and Rey
- Darth Vader and Kylo Ren
- Han Solo and Chewbacca
- Princess Leia
- Qui-Gon Jinn
- The Mandalorian
Classic Monopoly GO events receive Star Wars makeovers too. Expect mini-games set on Tatooine's desert landscape and high-speed podracing action featuring Qui-Gon and Mr. M at Mos Espa Grand Arena.
Additional Galactic Goodies
The collab trailer premiered at Star Wars Celebration Japan, showcasing lightsaber-inspired visuals and cosmic gameplay elements. Watch PEG-E navigate hyperspace adventures:
Like previous events, players can collect Star Wars-themed cosmetics including tokens, shields, and expressive emojis. Stay tuned to official social channels for surprise announcements throughout the event's duration.
