Open Beta Launches October 28 (PS Plus Early Access), October 31 for All

The October 23 showcase revealed the open beta's launch date: October 28 for PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS5, and October 31 for everyone else on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Cross-play will be fully enabled. This early access period for PS Plus members runs until October 30. The beta concludes November 3 for all players.

To join, download the beta client from your platform's store. Pre-downloads begin October 27 (PS Plus) and October 30 (others). Ensure you have at least 18GB of free space.

Open Beta Content:

The beta includes character creation (progress carries over!), a story trial (tutorial and Chatacabra fight), and a challenging Doshaguma Hunt (supports multiplayer or NPC hunters).

All beta participants receive exclusive in-game rewards (Palico pendant, Seikret, item pack) available as DLC upon the full game's release on February 28, 2025.

New Trailer Reveals "Black Flame" and Oilwell Basin:

The "Black Flame" trailer introduced the Oilwell Basin, a fiery new locale with erupting oil wells, new monsters (Ajarakan, Rompopolo), and the fearsome Black Flame apex predator. The trailer also hints at the connection between the people of Azuz and the Everforge.
