New Monster Outbreaks Feature Tested in Monster Hunter Now
In the world of Monster Hunter Now, Niantic is rolling out a new feature test called Monster Outbreaks. This exciting event aims to gather player feedback to fine-tune the feature before its official release. So, if you're a fan, get ready to dive in and share your thoughts!
When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?
The testing phase for Monster Outbreaks is scheduled from April 26th to 27th. It will run for a couple of hours each day, specifically twice a day on both Saturday and Sunday. You can join in from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., based on your local time.
During these outbreaks, you'll encounter clusters of 8-star Black Diablos at designated outbreak points on the map. The goal? Team up with other players to take down a total of 100 Black Diablos at each outbreak spot within the one-hour window. Remember, this count is specific to each location, not a global total!
To participate, you must be at least Hunter Rank (HR) 11. Note that you can't use the party feature for this event; only in-person group hunts will be counted. Outbreak points are clearly marked on the map with a special icon, and you can tap on them to see more details. There's even a sign-up roster at each location, allowing you to coordinate with others on when you plan to hunt.
Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!
The way the slay count works adds an interesting twist. If you and three other hunters take down one monster, it counts as four towards the goal of 100. If your group reaches the 100-monster target before time runs out, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the hour.
There are fantastic rewards waiting if your group achieves the 100-monster goal. You'll receive 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Plus, if you sign up using the roster, you're eligible for the special Outbreak Test I Medal.
Interested in joining the Monster Outbreaks testing? Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and participate over the weekend. Don't miss out on this thrilling opportunity to test a new feature and win exclusive rewards!
