Mortal Kombat Mobile is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and to mark the occasion, Warner Bros. International and NetherRealm Studios are launching a massive update. Arriving on March 25th, this update introduces new fighters, a redesigned Faction Wars mode renamed Realm Klash, a fresh challenge tower, and a wealth of anniversary rewards.

A Decade of Fast-Paced, Brutal Kombat

A major new addition is MK1 Geras, a diamond-tier fighter with a versatile kit including power absorption, healing, and damage reflection. To unlock him, players can earn rewards through Realm Klash or the Kombat Pass.

Klassic Skarlet is also joining the roster as the first gold-tier fighter capable of being fully ascended to Level 5. She features unblockable attacks, a new Gash debuff, and the ability to steal blood droplets from opponents. She will be available through the Premium Plus Kombat Pass and the standard version.

The Faction Wars mode has been completely overhauled and is now known as Realm Klash. Players can now align with one of five different realms and compete over two-week seasons to earn Realm Points, moving beyond the previous focus on Blood Rubies.

The anniversary update also introduces new competitive ranks: Elder God, God, and Demi God. Blood Ruby Packs have been refreshed with new Kameo offers and MK1 Geras rewards. The mode has received a visual upgrade, new banners, updated leaderboards, and fixes for previous exploits.

Fresh Challenges in the 10th Anniversary Update

A new, extreme Tower of Time event presents a limited-time challenge. Running for two weeks and condensed to 50 floors, it offers seven new equipment pieces to collect. MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras will also receive their own dedicated Brutality equipment sets.

A new Fusion Boost modifier helps balance the gameplay by temporarily powering up the lowest-fused card on your team. The Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are also returning alongside this new challenge.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, players will receive special login bonuses. Starting April 1st, a free copy of a featured anniversary character will be granted daily for 10 days. Furthermore, three gold-tier fighters—Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke—are now eligible for ascension.
