"Mutants: Genesis - Cards Come Alive in Cyberpunk Strategy Game"
After a two-year stint in early access on PC, Mutants: Genesis has now officially launched on Android, iOS, and Steam. Developed by Celsius Online, this engaging online card game brings your cards to life in dynamic battles.
A Mutants Cards Game?
Dive into the futuristic world of Mutants: Genesis, where corporations and combat leagues dominate the landscape. As a Psycog, a master strategist, you'll build decks and summon genetically modified mutants that transform into animated creatures, battling in holographic arenas. Embark on a journey across the globe as the new leader of the Panakeia team, competing in the Xtrem Mutants Junior League. Along the way, you'll encounter new Champions, unlock unique cards, devise fresh strategies, and harness gene-based abilities. This card game emphasizes adaptation, planning, and evolving your tactics with each turn.
Mutants: Genesis boasts over 200 cards, categorized into six distinct gene types. The Tech gene revolves around precision and machinery, featuring self-repairing mutants and fast-striking mechanics like Dual Core. In contrast, the Necro gene embraces a darker theme, allowing you to wield death as a weapon with cards that grow stronger after defeat and utilize resources like Bones to bolster your forces.
The Blades gene rewards tactical acumen with condition-based powers and Orbs to shift the battle's momentum. The Zoo gene is all about chaos, where mutants rush into battle, evolve rapidly, and unleash unexpected surprises. The Space gene brings a militaristic feel, emphasizing squad unity and formidable defenses. Lastly, the Mystic gene harnesses magic, employing abilities like Burn and Stasis to control the battlefield while summoning mythical creatures.
Mutants: Genesis Has Lots to Offer
For PvE enthusiasts, Mutants: Genesis offers the chance to team up with two others to tackle massive boss fights or dive into Temporal Rifts for weekly challenges. PvP players can climb through eight ranked levels on a competitive ladder that refreshes monthly. The game also features seasonal rewards, regular balancing updates, and the opportunity to become one of the top Psycogs. Every aspect of the game, from PvP victories to cooperative endeavors, rewards players with new cards and crafting materials.
