Netflix Unveils "The Rise of the Golden Idol," Sequel Set in Ancient World
The Golden Idol Returns: Netflix's 'The Rise of the Golden Idol'
The iconic Golden Idol from the 18th century is back, but this time, it's the 1970s! Netflix has released The Rise of the Golden Idol, the sequel to The Case of the Golden Idol, and it's set three centuries after the original, in a groovy era of disco, bell-bottoms, and nascent fax machine technology.
What's the Story?
Three hundred years after the Cloudsley family saga captivated audiences, the Golden Idol's legend persists as whispers and myths. A diverse group, including relic hunters, cultists, and scientists, seeks its reappearance. Players step into the role of an investigator, unraveling bizarre events linked to the long-lost artifact.
The Rise of the Golden Idol features 20 cases, ranging from unsettling to supernatural. Analyze evidence, identify culprits, and uncover their motives. Expect a colorful cast of suspects: suspicious prisoners, eccentric TV personalities, and corporate figures with hidden agendas.
