Netmarble's popular action RPG, King of Fighters ALLSTAR, is set to conclude its run on October 30th, 2024. This announcement, recently posted on Netmarble's official forums, marks the end of a six-year journey for the title. The in-game store has already been closed since June 26th, 2024.

The reasons behind the closure remain somewhat unclear. While developers alluded to a potential shortage of characters to adapt from the extensive King of Fighters roster, other contributing factors are likely involved. Despite generally positive player reviews praising its animations and PvP combat, the game experienced optimization issues and crashes in recent times. These technical difficulties, however, didn't prevent it from achieving millions of downloads across Google Play and the App Store.

Players still interested in experiencing King of Fighters ALLSTAR have approximately four months remaining before the servers shut down. This provides ample opportunity to engage in the game's legendary battles and unique crossovers before it's gone. Download it from the Google Play Store before October.
