NieR: Automata - Where To Get Warped Wire
NieR: Automata features a wide array of enemies, each potentially dropping various upgrade materials for your pod and weapons. While many materials are acquired naturally during gameplay, some, like Warped Wire, require targeted farming. This guide pinpoints an efficient location to farm Warped Wire.
Farming Warped Wire in NieR: Automata
Warped Wire is a rare drop from stacked bipedal machines. These enemies are uncommon, but a specific area provides a high concentration.
Location: Use the Desert Camp fast travel point. Proceed along the path toward the main desert. Before reaching the open desert, you'll traverse mountainous terrain following a pipe through some ruins. This section contains multiple stacked bipedal machines.
Farming Spots: Two small clearings near destroyed buildings are ideal. The machines near these structures are predominantly the stacked variant. Warped Wire has a reasonable drop rate; expect one or two per clearing. Equipping a Drop Rate Up plug-in chip significantly accelerates the process.
Respawning Enemies: To optimize farming:
- Fast Travel: Fast travel to a different location and then return to Desert Camp to instantly respawn enemies. This is far quicker than the alternative.
- Distance Respawn: Running a significant distance away and returning will also respawn them.
Tips for Efficient Farming:
Investing in drop rate increase chips is highly beneficial, given the frequency of material farming required for weapon upgrades. Similarly, movement speed increase chips minimize travel time between fast travel points, proving useful for both material farming and side quests.
