Getting Ordelle Coins in FFXIV
To obtain Ordelle Coins, you'll need to conquer Jeuno: The First Walk in *FFXIV*, the inaugural Alliance Raid from the Echoes of Vana’diel series introduced in patch 7.1. Keep in mind, you're limited to earning one Ordelle Coin per week, so regular participation is key if you're keen on boosting your gear scores and item levels.
Unlocking Jeuno: The First Walk starts with accepting the quest "An Otherworldly Encounter" in Tulliyollal. You must first complete the Dawntrail Main Scenario Quests (MSQs) to see this quest. Just follow the quest markers, and you'll soon have access to the Raid, which requires an item level of 695 to enter.
Where to Use Ordelle Coins
Once you've secured your first Ordelle Coin in *FFXIV*, it's time to make the most of it. Make your way to the Nexus Arcade in Solution Nine and converse with Uah’shepya. Here, you can trade one Ordelle Coin for the following enhancement items:
- Surgelight Twine
- Surgelight Glaze
These items are crucial for augmenting gear purchased with Tomestones of Heliometry, elevating your gear to an impressive item level of 730. If tackling the Savage Arcadion Raids is not on your agenda, this method offers a solid alternative for gearing up in preparation for upcoming content patches.
After obtaining your Heliometry gear and Surgelight items, head over to Theone at Solution Nine. Hand over your items, and you'll receive the Augmented version of your Quetzalli gear.
That wraps up our guide on how to get and use Ordelle Coins in *FFXIV*. For more tips and detailed information on the game, be sure to check out The Escapist.
