Parallel Experiment’s Steam version faces delay, will now simultaneously release with the Android and iOS versions in June
Eleven Puzzles' cooperative puzzle game, Parallel Experiment, has been delayed. Initially slated for a March Steam release, the game will now launch on June 5th across Steam, Android, and iOS platforms simultaneously. This unified release ensures cross-play functionality from day one.
The delay allowed the developers to retain all planned features, including optional puzzles and additional mechanics, initially considered for removal to meet the earlier deadline. Players will assume the roles of detectives Ally and Old Dog, working together to unravel a complex mystery orchestrated by the Cryptic Killer.
The game boasts over 80 interconnected puzzles, demanding collaboration and communication. Challenges range from deciphering codes and manipulating water systems to computer hacking and even dealing with an intoxicated individual. The noir atmosphere and comic book art style create a captivating and suspenseful experience.
Beyond the core puzzles, players can engage in retro-style mini-games, such as darts, claw machines, and match-three puzzles, all with a cooperative twist. Dynamic dialogue with NPCs adds depth to the narrative, and playful interactions, like screen shaking or notebook doodling, allow for some lighthearted moments between partners.
Parallel Experiment offers five times the content of Eleven Puzzles' previous title. For more details, visit the Steam page. The June 5th launch date marks the beginning of this intriguing and challenging cooperative adventure.
