How to Trade in Path of Exile 2
Path of Exile 2 offers two primary trading methods: direct player-to-player trades and the official trade website. Let's examine each.
In-Game Trading
If you're in the same game instance as another player, right-click their character and select "Trade." Both players then choose items for exchange. Once both parties confirm, the trade is complete.
Alternatively, you can coordinate trades via global chat or direct messages. Right-click a player's name in chat, invite them to your party, teleport to their location, and initiate a trade by right-clicking their character.
Path of Exile 2 Trade Market
Path of Exile 2 features an online auction-style marketplace accessible only through the official trade website (link provided). A PoE account linked to your game platform is required.
To purchase items, use the website's filters to locate desired items. Click "Direct Whisper" to send an in-game message to the seller, arrange a meeting, and complete the transaction.
Selling items requires a Premium Stash Tab (purchased from the in-game Microtransaction Shop). Place the item in the Premium Stash, set it to "Public," and optionally set a price via right-click. The item will automatically appear on the trade site. The buyer will contact you in-game to finalize the trade.
This concludes our overview of the Path of Exile 2 trade system. For more game tips and troubleshooting (like fixing PC freezing), check out The Escapist.
