Atlus, famed for its Persona RPG series, has ignited speculation about Persona 6 with recent job postings on its recruitment site. The company is actively seeking a Producer for the Persona team, according to Game*Spark. This role requires extensive experience in AAA game development and IP management. Additional openings, though not explicitly for the Persona team, include positions for a 2D character designer, UI designer, and scenario planner.

This recruitment drive follows comments by game director Kazuhisa Wada, hinting at future Persona installments in Atlus's long-term strategy. While a Persona 6 announcement remains unconfirmed, these job listings strongly suggest active development.

The absence of a new mainline Persona game since Persona 5's release nearly eight years ago has fueled anticipation. Numerous spin-offs, remakes, and ports have kept fans engaged, but the next core entry remains shrouded in mystery. Rumors, dating back to 2019, indicated simultaneous development of Persona 6 alongside titles like P5 Tactica and P3R. With P3R's impressive sales figures (over one million copies sold in its first week), the franchise's momentum is undeniable. Speculation points towards a potential 2025 or 2026 release window for Persona 6, although an official announcement is eagerly awaited.
