Pirates Outlaws 2 introduces a new protagonist with a backstory set years after the original game. Players begin with pre-built decks and unique ability cards. An evolution tree provides a customizable deck upgrade system, transforming previously discarded cards into valuable assets. Relic acquisition has been revamped; instead of appearing after every battle, they're now found in markets, after boss fights, or during special events.
