How to Play The Getaway in Fortnite (Limited Time Mode)
Fortnite's limited-time mode, The Getaway, returns! Originally featured in Chapter 1 Season 5 and making a comeback in Chapter 6 Season 2, this heist-themed mode offers a thrilling PvP experience. Here's how to play and when to catch it.
Playing The Getaway in Fortnite
Launching into The Getaway is straightforward. Fire up Fortnite, head to the Lobby, and select "Discover." Locate The Getaway and hit "Play" to join the queue. Alternatively, use the search bar in the top-left corner of the Lobby and type "The Getaway" for a quick search.
What Is The Getaway?
The Getaway is a high-stakes PvP mode where teams race to locate a jewel, secure it, and escape with a Getaway Van. The first three teams to successfully complete this heist win. However, eliminating opposing teams also contributes to victory. This time around, enjoy the thrill in Zero Build mode, or choose from Duos, Squads, Unranked, and Ranked matches.
The Getaway Start and End Dates
The Getaway is currently live in Fortnite, but its run ends on April 1st at 12:00 AM Eastern Time. Don't miss out! Playing The Getaway earns you valuable XP towards your Battle Pass progression.
That's all there is to it! Get out there and experience the heist. For more *Fortnite* tips and strategies, check out The Escapist.
