Get Ready for Gigantamax Kingler Max Battle Day in Pokémon GO!

This February, Pokémon GO hosts a special Gigantamax Kingler Max Battle Day event. This guide covers start times, bonuses, exclusive rewards, and helpful tips to maximize your experience.

Event Details:

• Date & Time: Saturday, February 1, 2025, 2 PM to 5 PM local time. Gigantamax Kingler will appear in six-star Max Battles, with a chance to encounter a Shiny Kingler.

Event Bonuses:

• During the event (2 PM - 5 PM):

  • Increased Max Particle collection limit: 1,600
  • All Power Spots host Gigantamax Battles
  • More frequent Power Spot refreshes
  • 8x Max Particles from Power Spots

• From 12 AM to 5 PM:

  • 2x Max Particles from exploring
  • 1/4 adventuring distance for Max Particles (requires collecting all nearby Max Particles first)

Remember: To get the doubled Max Particles and reduced adventuring distance, collect all visible Max Particles in the Nearby menu before the event begins.

Event Exclusives & Tickets:

A $5 (or equivalent) Timed Research is available during the event (2 PM - 5 PM), offering:

• 1 Max Mushroom
• 25,000 XP
• Additional bonuses: 2x XP from Max Battles, and a further increased Max Particle collection limit (5,600).

Tickets can be purchased and gifted to Great Friends or higher, but only until 4 PM local time. Purchases are non-refundable and cannot be made with PokéCoins.

Tips for Success:

• Utilize Max Mushrooms: These double the damage your Dynamax/Gigantamax Pokémon inflict during Max Battles. You can use multiple in a row, but this won't stack the damage multiplier.
• Team Up: Use Campfire to find Max Battles and fellow Trainers for collaborative battles.
