"Pokémon Go Revives Bug Out Event: Sizzlipede Debuts"
The Bug Out event is making a thrilling return to Pokémon Go, running from March 26th to 30th. This event is your chance to dive into a world teeming with Bug-type Pokémon, featuring the exciting debut of Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch. Get ready for an action-packed experience filled with wild encounters, raids, bonuses, and fresh challenges that'll keep you engaged throughout the event.
Lure Modules will be your best friend during Bug Out, not only drawing in Sizzlipede but also boosting Pokémon spawns at PokéStops if you manage to catch enough Pokémon using a single Lure Module. This is the perfect opportunity to make the most of your time in the game.
You'll also enjoy double XP and extra Candy for Nice Throws or better, with an increased chance of earning Candy XL for trainers level 31 and above. Shiny hunters, rejoice! Your chances of encountering Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede are better during this event.
Expect to see a swarm of Bug-types in the wild, including favorites like Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Cutiefly as well.
In one-star raids, you'll have the chance to battle against Sizzlipede, Scyther, and Nincada. Meanwhile, three-star raids will feature Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor. Completing event-themed Field Research tasks will earn you Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with Pokémon featured in the event.
Don't miss out on the free Timed Research opportunity, which includes encounters with Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and more, along with a Lure Module. For those looking for extra rewards, there's a Paid Timed Research option available for $2 or its local equivalent, offering encounters with Heracross, Sizzlipede, and Kleavor, plus two Premium Battle Passes and an additional Lure Module.
New Collection Challenges will reward you with Stardust, XP, and Pokémon encounters, while PokéStop Showcases will highlight event-themed Pokémon. And don't forget to check out the in-game shop for the new Sizzlipede Boots and Scolipede Jacket to complete your Bug Out look.
