Pokémon GO Tour: Unova Event Brings Black and White Kyurem

Get ready, Pokémon GO trainers! Black and White Kyurem are finally arriving in Pokémon GO as part of the global GO Tour: Unova event, taking place March 1st and 2nd, from 10 AM to 6 PM local time.

This highly anticipated duo, previously leaked and generating much excitement among fans, will be available in raids. Even better, shiny versions of both legendary Pokémon will also be catchable! The event will also feature special in-game backgrounds inspired by the original Pokémon Black and Pokémon White games.

The arrival of Black and White Kyurem is a significant addition to the Pokémon GO roster, potentially reshaping the game's competitive landscape. Their inclusion in the Unova-themed event makes perfect sense, given their origins in the Pokémon Black and White games.

Fusion Frenzy:

Similar to last year's Necrozma fusion event, trainers can fuse Kyurem with other legendary Pokémon:

• Black Kyurem: Fuse with Zekrom using 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy. Learns the attack Freeze Shock.
• White Kyurem: Fuse with Reshiram using 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy. Learns the attack Ice Burn.

The fusion is reversible at no cost. The required Fusion Energy is earned by defeating Kyurem in raids.

Exclusive Rewards:

Completing these fusions unlocks special event backgrounds themed after Pokémon Black and Pokémon White. Unlocking both fusions grants access to a unique third background.
