Yamada Heiando, a renowned lacquerware artisan, has unveiled a captivating collection of Pokémon bowls inspired by the Chinese Zodiac. These handcrafted pieces, a collaboration with The Pokémon Company, feature Pikachu (Rat), Ekans (Snake), and Dragonite (Dragon).
Each bowl represents a facet of child development: Pikachu embodies kindness, Ekans symbolizes growth, and Dragonite signifies openness. Yamada Heiando envisions these bowls as cherished keepsakes, accompanying families through precious moments and milestones.
The initial release on January 17th, 2025, sold out rapidly. A second sales period begins January 31st, with a two-item purchase limit per customer. Priced at 16,500 JPY (approximately $105 USD), these bowls are available with international shipping (additional charges may apply). Yamada Heiando hints at future Zodiac Pokémon bowl releases.
