Pokémon GO announced the exciting arrival of Gigantamax Kingler on February 1st! Last year's highly anticipated update introducing Dynamax and Gigantamax forms has steadily expanded the roster of available variants. Gigantamax, a powerful Dynamax form, not only increases a Pokémon's size and strength but also alters its appearance and grants unique G-Max Moves. While the main series games feature 32 Gigantamax-capable Pokémon, Pokémon GO currently boasts only six, with Gigantamax Lapras being the most recent addition. This number is set to increase with the upcoming event.
Gigantamax Kingler will debut in Pokémon GO on February 1st during Max Battle Day. Running from 2 pm to 5 pm local time, this event introduces the Water-type Pokémon to six-star Max Battles, offering trainers the chance to encounter a shiny Kingler. To enhance their battle performance, players can leverage Max Mushrooms, the temporary damage-boosting item for Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon in Max Battles.
