In a recent statement, the company acknowledged widespread supply issues and thanked fans for their patience. This marks the first official acknowledgment of the problem, which has been widely discussed on social media.

Initially announced in early November 2024 with pre-orders opening shortly after, Prismatic Evolutions was slated for global release on January 17th, 2025. However, significant shortages have impacted availability worldwide, leading to frustration among collectors.

The Pokémon Company confirmed that reprints are currently underway and will soon be distributed to licensed vendors. While the exact timeframe remains unspecified, the company assures fans that they are working at maximum capacity to increase production and address the high demand.
