Pokémon Go Tour Debuts New Kyurem Forms Globally

Feb 25,25

Maximize your Pokémon Go Tour: Unova – Global experience with Black and White Kyurem's powerful Adventure Effects!

Black Kyurem's Freeze Shock and White Kyurem's Ice Burn offer significant advantages during the event. Freeze Shock immobilizes wild Pokémon for easier catching, while Ice Burn slows the target ring, improving your accuracy for Excellent Throws. Both effects are initially active for 10 minutes and can be extended in 10-minute increments up to a maximum of 2 hours at a time, with a total duration of 24 hours.

This event introduces a new fusion mechanic. Defeat Black or White Kyurem in five-star raids to collect Fusion Energy. Fusing Zekrom or Reshiram with a Kyurem possessing Glaciate will replace Glaciate with Freeze Shock or Ice Burn respectively. This change is temporary; the move reverts to Glaciate upon separation. Note that these moves cannot be learned via Charged TMs or Elite Charged TMs.

Choose your allegiance! Select either the Black Version (Reshiram) or White Version (Zekrom) event badge. Your choice dictates the move learned by Kyurem encountered after defeating the respective Legendary Pokémon (Glaciate) and the theme of your Special Research rewards.

Don't forget the Tour Pass! This invaluable tool unlocks rewards, enhances Adventure Effects, and accelerates progress. Earn Tour Points through catching, raiding, and hatching, or complete quick Pass Tasks for faster advancement. Reaching Major Milestones boosts Catch XP and extends the duration of Freeze Shock or Ice Burn.

For the ultimate advantage, consider the Tour Pass Deluxe. This paid upgrade provides an immediate Victini encounter, increased event-themed encounters, a unique avatar item, and the new Lucky Trinket. The Lucky Trinket guarantees a Lucky Friendship with a friend, enhancing your next trade.

The Pokémon Go Tour: Unova – Global event runs from February 24th to March 2nd. Prepare for an electrifying adventure!
