How the Friend's Pass Works
Split Fiction is strictly a two-player cooperative experience; solo play is not supported. Enjoy split-screen couch co-op or online cross-platform co-op with a single game purchase.
For online play, your friend simply downloads the free "Split Fiction - Friend's Pass" from their preferred digital marketplace on March 6th after receiving an invite from you. This mirrors the successful Friend's Pass system used in It Takes Two and A Way Out. Remember, the Friend's Pass requires a connection to a game owner.
About Split Fiction
Split Fiction plunges two writers—one sci-fi, one fantasy—into their own creations. Players collaborate to overcome challenges and puzzles across science fiction and fantasy-themed levels. Expect diverse gameplay, from riding futuristic motorcycles to shape-shifting in enchanted forests. Levels also include access to bonus minigames, such as "sand fish" desert rides and drone-powered water skiing.
