PUBG Mobile officially kicks off the Global Open with almost 100,000 participants

The 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) has kicked off, featuring over 90,000 competitors vying for a share of the $500,000 prize pool in the year's first major international PUBG Mobile esports event. Open Qualifiers, starting February 13th, provide a platform for aspiring players to showcase their skills and compete for a coveted spot in the PMGO Main Event.

This tournament, exclusively for amateur teams, guarantees a spotlight on fresh talent. Teams boasting at least one Ultimate 500-ranked player from Cycle 7 Season 20 or 21 have already advanced to Round 2 of the Open Qualifiers. Over the coming weeks, emerging teams will clash for a place in the PMGO Prelims, facing off against top contenders from the Uzbekistan Offline Qualifiers.

ytTwelve teams will ultimately earn the right to challenge PUBG Mobile's elite professionals in the PMGO Main Event. Four professional teams—Regnum Carya, Nigma Galaxy, 4Merical Vibes, and Influence Rage—have already secured their Main Event berths based on their impressive performances at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024. Four additional teams will qualify through regional competitions, including the PMSL SEA Spring, PMGO Korea Qualifier, and the Peacekeeper Elite League Spring season.
