Ubisoft Delays Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence

Rainbow Six Mobile and Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence, highly anticipated mobile titles, have been delayed yet again. Initially slated for a 2024-2025 release, Ubisoft's recent financial report reveals a postponement until after FY25 (meaning sometime after April 2025).

The delay isn't attributed to development issues, but rather a strategic move to mitigate competition within the already saturated tactical shooter market. Ubisoft aims to optimize launch performance by avoiding a crowded release window. Competitors like Delta Force: Hawk Ops are cited as a factor influencing this decision.

Strategic Postponement

Ubisoft's business documentation highlights a desire for "optimized KPIs in a demanding yet very large market," indicating a focus on achieving strong initial results rather than being overshadowed by other releases.
