Playable Demo at PAX WEST 2025

The excitement for Resident Evil Requiem (RE9) builds as fans get a chance to experience the terror directly. Capcom USA announced via Twitter (X) on August 12 that the first playable demo will be accessible at PAX WEST 2025, running from August 19 to September 1 at the Seattle Convention Center.

Additionally, a CAPCOM Presents Panel is scheduled for August 31 at 2 PM in the Main Theatre, where the development team will reveal further game insights. Alongside RE9, playable demos for other anticipated Capcom titles, including Onimusha: Way of the Sword and PRAGMATA, will also be available.

Prior to its PAX WEST debut, RE9 will be highlighted at Gamescom 2025. In a Twitter (X) post on August 12, Gamescom host Geoff Keighley confirmed the game's appearance during the opening night live event on August 19 at 8 PM CEST / 7 PM BST / 2 PM ET / 11 AM PT.
