"Respawn and Bit Reactor to Unveil Star Wars: Zero Company This Weekend"
Following a minor leak last week, EA has officially unveiled the title of its upcoming Star Wars game, Star Wars: Zero Company, and confirmed that it's being crafted by the newly established studio Bit Reactor, with backing from Lucasfilm Games and Respawn. This exciting new entry into the Star Wars universe is set to be a "single-player turn-based tactics game," promising a unique gameplay experience within the beloved franchise.

While details remain sparse, fans won't have to wait long for more information. EA has scheduled a first look at Star Wars: Zero Company for April 19 at Star Wars Celebration in Japan, offering a glimpse into what this game will bring to the table.
Bit Reactor, formed in 2022, is a strategy game studio composed of industry veterans from acclaimed titles such as XCOM, Civilization, Gears of War, and Elder Scrolls Online. Their experience promises a high-quality strategic gaming experience. Although it was known that Bit Reactor was collaborating with Respawn on a Star Wars project, this is the first time concrete details have emerged.
Regarding Respawn's role, the extent of their involvement remains somewhat ambiguous. Respawn has faced significant challenges recently, including the cancellation of their own Star Wars FPS project a year ago, alongside widespread layoffs at EA, and the termination of another multiplayer FPS project just last month.
More insights into Star Wars: Zero Company will be shared during a live panel on Saturday, April 19 at 4:30pm local time in Japan. For fans in the U.S., this translates to 12:30am PT and 3:30am ET, so set your alarms to catch this exciting reveal!
