New Roguelite 'Coromon: Rogue Planet' Set for Release

Following the mobile release of their popular monster-collecting game Coromon, developer TRAGsoft is launching a roguelite spin-off, Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free). Scheduled for release next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android, this new title combines the turn-based combat of its predecessor with roguelite elements for highly replayable monster collecting. The Steam page boasts 10 ever-changing biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile game. It will be interesting to see how the mobile version of Coromon: Rogue Planet compares to the Steam and Switch releases, and whether they launch simultaneously. You can wishlist Coromon: Rogue Planet on Steam now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds incredibly appealing. Based on the Steam screenshots, it seems perfectly suited for short bursts of play. In the meantime, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS.
