Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 Features a New eSports Team Format in Tennis Clash
Get ready for the return of the Roland-Garros eSeries in 2025! Following last year's thrilling competition, this year's tournament promises even more excitement with a brand-new team-based format, legendary tennis captains, and a €5,000 prize pool up for grabs. Returning sponsors Renault and Mastercard add to the prestige, offering players the chance to customize their characters with official Roland-Garros 2025 outfits and the exclusive Renault 5 Roland-Garros string.
When Does It Start?
The Roland-Garros eSeries kicks off in March with open qualifiers. Players will battle it out in three qualifying stages: March 6-11, March 20-25, and April 3-8. These stages will determine the finalists. The top female players from the first two qualifiers automatically advance alongside the overall winners. The grand finale takes place on May 24th at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium, with live spectators and a Twitch stream for global viewing.
What’s New This Year?
This year's major change? Teams! Finalists will compete in teams, each captained by a French tennis legend. Gilles Simon, former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion, is already confirmed as a captain. His rival captain remains a mystery, but organizers have hinted it's a Grand Slam winner—intriguing! Simon, a commentator since 2023 and a 2024 Top 8 player, brings valuable experience to his team.
Are You Excited for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025?
The competition heats up once teams are formed. The winning team from the initial phase advances to the winner's bracket of a double-elimination format, while the losing team begins in the loser's bracket. Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco, the reigning champion, returns to defend his title, joined by the two Grand Tour finalists. With 548,000 participants from 215 territories last year, expect an even more intense competition this year.
Tennis Clash is also celebrating Women's Day by offering a trip to Paris for the top female and overall players. Download Tennis Clash from the Google Play Store and prepare for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025—it's going to be epic!
