RuneScape's RuneFest 2025: Major Announcements & Sailing Unveiled
RuneScape celebrated its triumphant return to RuneFest in 2025, marking the first event since 2019! This year's festival brought exciting news for both Old School RuneScape and the mainline RuneScape experience.
Old School RuneScape players were treated to a trio of major updates. First, the highly anticipated Sailing skill made its debut, introducing a fleet of nautical vessels for players to explore. Experienced players also received a challenging new endgame boss, Yama, and an HD upgrade option that enhances visuals without compromising the game's classic low-poly aesthetic.
