A 2026 Release
Housemarque's Saros, a PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro exclusive, is set to launch in 2026. Building upon the exhilarating gameplay of Returnal, this new IP will feature a unique narrative centered around Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.
Evolving the Roguelike Formula
According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived to allow Returnal to stand independently as its own entity. This new IP will refine and expand upon Returnal's storytelling and mechanics. While Returnal offered a constantly shifting roguelike experience, Saros introduces persistent and upgradeable loadouts—weapons and suits—empowering players to "Come Back Stronger" and overcome challenges.
