Old School RuneScape Celebrates Sixth Anniversary with Tons of New Features!
Jagex has just dropped a major update for the mobile version of Old School RuneScape, its sixth anniversary update! Since it’s an anniversary update, so naturally, there’s a lot that they’re bringing to the table. Keep reading and let me know whether you agree or not.
Here’s the Scoop on What’s New
The Old School RuneScape Sixth Anniversary update mostly has some major and minor tweaks to make your gameplay easier, better and faster. You’ll now be able to personalize more stuff. A fresh mobile UI, Side Stones, Hotkeys and the list goes on.
Let’s talk about the new UI first. It lets you organize your setup just the way you like it. You can add Side Stones to the interface, which is essentially your main tool for combat or chill-mode gameplay. It gives you quick access to your inventory, gear, spells and friends.
And now, you can have five hotkeys right on your screen. Switching between layouts will now be very very easy. You also get the option to store up to three different layouts, so hopping between activities is also simpler now.
The Old School RuneScape Sixth Anniversary update adds the Menu Entry Swapper (MES). With MES, you can change up interactable elements of NPCs and items and tailor the game to your playstyle.
The new Popout Panel gives you access to XP tracking, Ground Item Indicators and all sorts of other goodies that keep you updated on what’s to come. Lastly, HiScores have finally made it to the mobile client. Now you can keep tabs on your opponents and see exactly where you stand while you’re levelling up.
Take a look at all that’s happening in Old School RuneScape Sixth Anniversary! And do check the game out on the Google Play Store.
