What Is Civilization VII?

Sid Meier’s Civilization VII continues the legacy of a strategy game series that began in 1991. Developed by Firaxis, this game allows you to select a historical leader to guide your civilization towards global dominance. You can construct cities, populate them with architectural wonders, and expand your influence through conquest or diplomacy with neighboring civilizations.

Civilization VII offers flexibility in how you advance your civilization. You can adhere to historical accuracy or diverge to create a unique path tailored to your strategy. A significant new feature in Civ 7 is the dynamic civilization progression across three distinct Ages: Antiquity, Exploration, and Modern.
