Celebrate 25 Years of The Sims with the Return of the Originals!

To mark the 25th anniversary of the iconic The Sims franchise, EA and Maxis have delivered a fantastic gift to fans: The Sims and The Sims 2 are back on PC! Available now are The Sims: Legacy Collection, The Sims 2: Legacy Collection, and a combined The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle for $40.

Both collections are comprehensive, including nearly all expansion and stuff packs. While The Sims 2: Legacy Collection omits the 2008 IKEA Home Stuff pack, it still boasts an impressive array of content. Even better, each collection includes bonus content: The Sims: Legacy Collection offers the Throwback Fit Kit, and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection features a Grunge Revival Kit.

This marks a momentous occasion. For over a decade, accessing *The Sims* and *The Sims 2* has been challenging. *The Sims* was originally only available on disc, making it nearly impossible to play on modern systems. While *The Sims 2* had a brief revival with the Ultimate Collection on Origin, it was later removed. Now, with these new Legacy Collections, all four main *Sims* games are readily available digitally.

Remember our classic reviews? We gave The Sims a 9.5/10 and The Sims 2 an 8.5/10. Though the series has evolved significantly, the originals retain their charm, offering a unique blend of simplicity, challenge, and nostalgic fun.

Dive back into the world of The Sims! The Sims: Legacy Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection are available now on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the EA app.
