Sky: Children of the Light kicks off the Season of Radiance to usher in 2025 with a splash of colour
Sky: Children of the Light is brightening up 2025 with its vibrant new Season of Radiance update! This major update introduces a wealth of colorful content, most notably a Dye Workshop.
Thatgamecompany's all-ages MMO is getting a much-requested feature: the ability to customize the colors of your in-game cosmetics. The new Dye Workshop, located in the Aviary Village, provides players with the tools to create and apply dyes. The Radiance Guide will provide a comprehensive tutorial on dye usage.
This isn't just about superficial changes; players will need to harvest new Dark Plants scattered throughout the kingdom to create dyes. Experimentation is encouraged, as dye mixing allows for a wide range of custom hues. And to give players plenty to customize, the update also includes new hairstyles, capes, outfits, and more.
A Technicolor Dream
The Season of Radiance begins January 20th. While the addition of a dye system might seem overdue, it's a welcome feature that promises to enhance the gameplay experience for both veteran and new players.
