Tactical Adventures has released a free demo for Solasta: Crown of the Magister 2, their latest turn-based tactical RPG set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe. This sequel invites players to create a party of four heroes and journey through the land of Neokhos, a quest for redemption against an ancient evil. Expect significant freedom in exploration and decision-making, with meaningful choices shaping your adventure.

The demo retains core features from the original Solasta, including tactical turn-based combat, extensive character customization, and dynamic NPC interactions. A helpful addition for newcomers is the default "Helpful Dice" feature, mitigating unlucky roll streaks—though this can be disabled for veteran players seeking a more challenging experience. Clever use of the environment is key to victory, with terrain offering strategic advantages in combat.

Play solo or team up with friends in cooperative multiplayer, similar to Divinity: Original Sin. The demo provides a taste of diverse class-based challenges and encounters, showcasing the depth of the full game. Tactical Adventures welcomes player feedback to help shape the final release.

The system requirements are moderate: at minimum, an Intel Core i5-8400 CPU, 16 GB of RAM, and either an NVIDIA GTX 1060 or AMD RX 580 GPU are recommended for optimal performance.
