Sonic Forces, Sonic Dream Team, and Sonic Dash are all set to receive updates ahead of Sonic the Hedgehog 3’s launch
Sega unleashes a wave of Sonic mobile game updates timed with the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie release! Across various platforms, including Apple Arcade, App Store, and Google Play, players can expect fresh content inspired by the film.
First up, Sonic Forces receives a major update on December 12th, introducing a brand-new Metro-city Zone. This thrilling addition boasts three challenging tracks playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other iconic characters. Complete the levels before catching the movie!
Next, on December 18th, Sonic Dream Team gets a boost with the addition of Shadow as a playable character, complete with unique abilities like Chaos Control and Chaos Shift. Unlock him by tackling Tails’ Challenges. New powers like Quick Grind and Perfect Boost enhance gameplay for all characters, while exclusive upgrades, including Double Chaos Shift, supercharge Shadow's capabilities. Six new Shadow-themed statues and music tracks, along with a revamped tutorial, round out this update.
Lastly, Sonic Dash sprints into action on December 20th, offering players the chance to earn cards unlocking Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic. Daily challenges provide extra rewards. Sonic Dash+, on Apple Arcade, will follow in January with its own Shadow-themed expansion.
