A Massive Roster of Beloved Characters
While the full roster remains under wraps (though 23 characters are confirmed for launch, with more to come), the reveal trailer showcases a star-studded lineup. Expect to see fan favorites like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy, alongside characters from Sonic Riders (Jet, Wave, and Storm), the Deadly Six (Zavok and Zazz), Team Dark (Shadow, Rouge, and E-123 Omega), the Chaotix (Vector, Charmy, and Espio), and even Blaze, Silver, Cream, and Big. Dr. Eggman, Egg Pawn, and Metal Sonic round out this impressive cast.

This dynamic gameplay, inspired by Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, ensures that no two races are ever the same, with 24 main tracks and 15 CrossWorlds to explore. Tracks will transform throughout each lap, demanding constant adaptation.
Customization, Gadgets, and the Return of Extreme Gear
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds offers the most extensive vehicle customization yet. Players can tweak everything from body parts and wheels to color schemes and glow effects. 23 different gadgets provide strategic advantages, allowing for personalized playstyles. The return of Extreme Gear from Sonic Riders adds a thrilling hoverboard-based racing option to the mix, expanding the gameplay possibilities. With 45 unique vehicles, players will have plenty of choices to personalize their racing experience.
Closed Network Test: Get in on the Action!
A closed network test, exclusive to PlayStation 5, is scheduled for February 21st-24th, 2025. Registration is open until February 19th, 2025. Participants completing the post-test survey will receive an exclusive in-game sticker and title.
