A Space for the Unbound iOS Launch: Pre-Order Now
- A Space for the Unbound is scheduled for an early April release
- Keep an eye out for this pre-apocalyptic adventure
- Follow the journey of high-school sweethearts Atma and Raya
As we welcome spring and enjoy increasingly warmer weather, there are still several major releases to look forward to. One standout is the pre-apocalyptic high-school romance A Space for the Unbound, which is excitingly close to its April 4th launch!
Set in 1990s rural Indonesia, A Space for the Unbound tells the story of teenagers Atma and Raya. If you're concerned this might be a bland teen drama, fear not—the stakes are incredibly high as a supernatural apocalypse threatens to end the world.
You'll get to explore the Indonesian countryside and interact with residents of the protagonists' hometown. Dive into the minds of NPCs, Inception-style, and witness eerie supernatural events as doomsday approaches.
BoundlessAs Dann noted back in October, Balatro appears to have sparked a wave of mobile ports. While I don't entirely agree with that conclusion—I believe this shift has been building for some time—there's no denying that Balatro highlighted mobile gaming's potential, even as indie developers like those behind A Space for the Unbound have been quietly pushing creative boundaries.
Of course, this raises concerns for me that smaller releases such as A Space for the Unbound, which may not have massive indie recognition, could be overlooked.
