Splatoon 3's 10.0.0 Update Is Here — Check Out the Patch Notes
Nintendo has rolled out a major update for Splatoon 3, enhancing both the visual quality and performance on the Nintendo Switch 2.
Among the key improvements is an increased resolution for screenshots saved in the Switch 2 Album, ensuring your best in-game moments look sharper than ever. Additionally, on-screen movement has been optimized across several key areas including Splatsville, Inkopolis, Inkopolis Square, and Grand Festival Grounds. Animations have also received a polish—especially for characters like jellyfish and the Salmonid during Salmon Run events, where smoother visuals are now present even when large groups appear on screen.
Beyond visual and performance enhancements, this update introduces 30 new weapon kits from the Barazushi and Emberz brands—collectively known as the Splatlands Collection—as well as the nostalgic return of the Urchin Underpass stage, originally featured in the first Splatoon game on Wii U.
Nintendo has confirmed that future updates will focus on multiplayer balance adjustments, particularly tailored to accommodate the newly added weapons and gameplay dynamics they introduce.
