"Split Fiction: All Side Story Locations Revealed"
While *Split Fiction* offers a linear co-op adventure, the game is enriched with optional Side Stories that you can explore. These Side Stories, though not essential for completing the game, are packed with some of the most memorable moments, such as turning into pigs or competing in a deadly game show. Completing all 12 of these Side Stories will also unlock the Bookworms achievement, so if you're aiming to experience the full breadth of *Split Fiction*, here's a detailed guide on how to find them all.
How to Find All Side Stories in Split Fiction
From Chapters 2 through 5, you'll encounter a total of 12 Side Stories, with three in each chapter. Here's how to locate each one:
- Legend of the Sandfish – The first Side Story in *Split Fiction* is found in Chapter 2 after completing the Rush Hour section. It's unmissable as you progress through the chapter.
- Farmlife – In Chapter 2, within the Streets of Neon section, look for this Side Story after hopping over a small barrier but before using the elevators on the left.
- Mountain Hike – The last Side Story in Chapter 2 is in the Big City Life section. Once you reach the Port-A-Pottys, have Mio enter one, and then use Zoe to throw her over to the opposite ledge with a small ladder. Mio should then drop the ladder for access.
- Train Heist – In Chapter 3's Lord Evergreen section, while navigating water with a wooden plank, find this Side Story on a ledge that requires Mio and Zoe to wall run to reach.
- Gameshow – Located in the Walking Sticks of Doom section of Chapter 3, you'll find this Side Story on a platform after the side-scrolling section, which involves minor platforming to reach.
- Collapsing Star – The final Side Story in Chapter 3 is in the Halls of Ice section, directly on the main path, making it impossible to miss.
- Kites – In Chapter 4, within the Toxic Tumblers section, you'll find this Side Story at the end of the long tube.
- Moon Market – In the Test Chamber section of Chapter 4, after the crane sequence, look for this Side Story on a ledge to the left, accessible after some platforming.
- Notebook – The last Side Story in Chapter 4, found in the Soaring Desperados section, becomes accessible once you obtain the jetpack. Hover over to the left side of the room, avoiding the giant wheel.
- Slopes of War – The first Side Story in Chapter 5 is in the Water Temple section. After hatching your dragons, solve the lever puzzle on the left after crossing the golden balls to unlock this Side Story.
- Space Escape – In Chapter 5's Craft Temple section, after defeating the dragon, launch Mio to the ledge using her glide and Zoe’s roll, then have Mio drop a column for Zoe to climb.
- Birthday Cake – The final Side Story in *Split Fiction* is found in Chapter 5's Treasure Temple section. Complete the soul puzzle to find it on your left.
Once all 12 Side Stories are completed, the Bookworms achievement will automatically unlock, enhancing your *Split Fiction* experience.
*Split Fiction* is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, inviting players to dive into its engaging world and uncover all its hidden gems.
