Stalker 2: Journalist Stash Uncovered in Maze
Quick Links
Journalist stashes in Stalker 2 are scattered across the game's map, with some areas containing multiple stashes. One such stash, located within the car maze in the Garbage region, holds the powerful Tourist Suit armor. This guide details how to easily locate and retrieve it.
How to Find the Garbage Journalist Cache in the Maze
To find this stash, travel northwest from the Slag Heap towards the car maze. While the maze has multiple entrances, use the main entrance (shown on the map above).
Once inside, proceed to the right until you reach a burned-out bus on its side. Look to your left; you'll see another bus with blue exterior. Climb onto this bus to locate the stash. Retrieve the Tourist Suit Body Armor from the stash.
Is the Tourist Suit Body Armor Worth It?
The Tourist Suit is a top-tier early-to-mid game armor in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It provides excellent protection against thermal, electrical, and chemical hazards. Its key strengths are superior radiation and physical damage resistance, crucial for surviving high-radiation environments and combat.
Beyond its defensive capabilities, the suit also boosts stamina regeneration by 5%. Given the extensive exploration in Stalker 2, improved stamina is invaluable for long journeys.
While the Tourist Suit is effective on its own, upgrading it further enhances its performance. While Lens at Zalissya can't upgrade it, Diode at the Slag Heap possesses the necessary skills and can equip it with high-quality modifications.
