This untitled gem, developed by Bit Reactor—a studio brimming with veterans from the renowned XCOM franchise at Firaxis Games—has been a project in the making since its announcement in early 2022. Bit Reactor has collaborated closely with Star Wars Jedi's Respawn Entertainment, and now, they're ready to showcase their creation to the world.
Mark your calendars for April 19, when the first look will be revealed through a live panel. You'll hear directly from the lead development team at Bit Reactor, alongside Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games, as listed on the official Star Wars Celebration 2025 schedule.

While details are scarce about this mysterious game, including its setting within the Star Wars universe and specifics about its gameplay, the involvement of XCOM alumni suggests we can expect a strategy experience infused with Star Wars magic.
In other Star Wars gaming news, Respawn Entertainment is continuing its work on the third installment of the Star Wars Jedi series, though it's unclear if it will make an appearance at this year's Celebration. Respawn had been developing another Star Wars game, a first-person shooter rumored to feature a Mandalorian protagonist, but it was unfortunately canceled amid a significant restructuring at EA, which resulted in approximately 670 job losses. Additionally, earlier in March, Respawn canceled a multiplayer first-person shooter project and let go of an unspecified number of team members involved.
At the Star Wars Celebration, Lucasfilm will also give fans a sneak peek at the upcoming movie, The Mandalorian & Grogu, set to release in May 2026, and a first look at Star Wars: Visions Volume 3.
