Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Is Coming To Mobile This November!
Stardew Valley's highly anticipated 1.6 update finally arrives on mobile devices on November 4th, 2024! Console and mobile players can now experience the massive update, initially released on PC in March 2024.
What's New in Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Mobile?
This update significantly expands the game's multiplayer capabilities, now supporting up to eight players simultaneously – double the previous limit. Collaborate with friends on farming, fishing, and building projects! Two exciting fishing festivals, the Trout Derby and SquidFest, join the existing seasonal events, including the Desert Festival.
Explore the new Meadowlands farm layout, ideal for raising livestock and enjoying convenient fishing. Over 100 new NPC dialogues enhance interactions with the town's residents, adding depth to the social experience.
Discover a wealth of new items: the Big Chest (nearly double the storage of a regular chest), a dehydrator for preserving produce, a heavy furnace, and a bait maker for crafting specialized fish lures.
Personalize your farm with new furniture styles and over 25 stylish new hats. Earn prize tickets by completing quests and participating in festivals, then redeem them at the prize machine in Lewis's house.
After fully befriending your starting pet, you can now acquire multiple pets, each potentially bringing gifts! And yes, you can even put hats on them! Notice the updated winter outfits on the NPCs as well.
A golden Joja parrot assists in locating the elusive golden walnuts on Ginger Island. New crops include carrots, summer squash, broccoli, powdermelon, and two giant crop varieties.
Reasons for the Delay
The delay in releasing the 1.6 update for mobile and consoles allowed the developers to thoroughly test the update on PC, ensuring a smoother experience for all players.
Get ready for new fishing events, adorable pets, and exciting new crops! Download Stardew Valley from the Google Play Store and revitalize your neglected farm. Stay tuned for our next article on Airplane Chefs and their new Pringles partnership!
